Description

As Divisional Accountant, you will support the Divisional Finance Manager in preparing the monthly board packs and reporting and analysis, to be submitted to the group functions. Key duties include:

  • Reporting and consolidation including preparing and reporting on weekly sales data
  • Assisting in the production of monthly divisional management packs
  • Being the point of contact for all intercompany queries for the UK business
  • Working to tight deadlines to ensure all reporting requirements are met
  • Carrying out divisional reconciliations to ensure all monthly reporting data is consistent between local management and group management reporting
  • Control financial master data in SAP
  • Working on change and improvement projects as and when requested

Profile

The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:

  • Graduate with a 1st or 2:1 classification in a relevant business/finance/economics/maths degree
  • Solid A Level results (min of 3 Bs ideally)
  • Proficient in the use of Excel and other Microsoft packages
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and problem solving skills
