Trainee Dealer
Birmingham City Centre
Bell Cornwall Recruitment are looking for a trainee dealer to join a large investment and stockbroking firm in their office in Birmingham. You will be assisting the dealing team to execute orders nationally, building relationships and developing knowledge of how markets work.
Key Responsibilities include:
* To assist the dealing team in all aspects
* Monitor dealing systems and reports
* To develop an understanding of and competence in dealing different instruments including equities both in the UK and internationally
* Communicate with market participants as appropriate to achieve the best result for the client
* Perform other such duties in order to meet the needs of the firm
Key requirements include:
* Ability to assess key risks and provide coherent reports
* Flexible working to include working overtime at short notice
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work on own initiative and remain calm under pressure
