Responsible for preparing financial forecasts, KPI metrics, analyses and reports for the use of Corporate and Divisional management. Responsible for general accounting functions and special projects as assigned. The individual will be responsible for a number of tasks involving freight expense forecasting, cost center forecasting, KPI metric review and analysis, various department reports, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and AP. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare, analyze and report on KPI metrics for Supply Chain area. Prepare weekly/monthly freight forecast reports for Corporate and Divisional Management. Assist with divisional planning worksheets and freight budgeting. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Be driven toward problem resolution. Complete daily, monthly and quarterly reporting. Audit and process invoices timely and accurately. Ensure timely and accurate financial processing and reporting in compliance with GAAP Ensure all SOX requirements and deadlines are met and no deficiencies exist. Prepare combining form analyticals monthly. Prepare KPMG analyticals as requested. Prepare Account Reconciliations where appropriate. May be required to perform additional duties as described by supervisor/manager. Must be punctual and meet attendance requirements. Must be able to accept direction. Must be able to work well with fellow associates (or be an integral part of the team). Ability to work for a number of executives. Must be able to work with various departments across all Foot Locker sites Must be able to handle multiple projects/tasks. Must be flexible to changes in assignments such as taking on additional projects/tasks as assigned by management. Must have and maintain a sense of urgency to complete tasks and follow through to end results. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree, major in business/finance, from a college or university; and one to four years of related experience and/or training. Preferred; Accounting, Finance & MBA. Basic PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Knowledge of People Soft A/P & G/L is desirable. Strong communication skills required to work with various foreign and domestic Foot Locker sites.
