Hamlin Knight is recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a leading housing association based in Stratford on a 5 month contract paying GBP40 per hour. The role will be responsible for the Business & Data analysis for property services transformation.

ROLE PURPOSE
*To identify options for technology pilots (e.g. using smart monitoring)
*Creation of a Direct Labour Organisation for some existing teams
*Create and implement a procurement strategy
*Build some detailed business cases to support the business
*To work with key stakeholders to develop business requirements for change in projects
*Leading business analysis activity on projects, supporting the business representatives in the development of their work plans
*Own, complete and deliver project documentation in a timely and professional manner.
*Drive and challenge the business on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans

RESPONSIBILITIES
*To proactively and collaboratively work with key stakeholders to develop business requirements
*To identify and collate existing business data to enable it to be analysed to identify costs and options
*To proactively identify project risks and to ensure that they are effectively managed with the Project Managers, in line with the business needs.
*Work with Project Managers to develop business requirements, technical requirements, project plans and manage project budgets and risks
*Analyse and document business processes
*Producing reports for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.
*Research options and technology solutions as required.

ESSENTIAL
*Experience dealing with a range of stakeholders
*Experience leading workshops and documenting processes
*Ability to analyse and document complex business processes
*Ability to document requirements specifications from business users
*End to end experience of the project lifecycle
*Experience interacting directly with end users in a project scenario
*Proactively initiates, develops and maintains effective working relationships with key stakeholders
*Shares acquired skills with team members through formal and informal channels
*Results orientated with good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders through effective inter–personal skills.

DESIRED
*Experience in the social housing sector
*Experience with ActiveH and MS Dynamics
*Experience setting up DLOs or managing existing ones
*Understanding of differing operating models together with their advantages / disadvantages
*Previous experience with a range of remote monitoring systems
*Procurement especially OJEU
*Experience producing business cases
