An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a thriving team. You will have full resposibility for the purchase ledger and will assist other members of the five person accounts team as and when required.

Description

As the Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the following:

  • Logging all supplier invoices for the UK business
  • Coding and circulation of invoices to budget holders
  • Cash allocations (supplier related)
  • Purchase ledger maintenance & reporting
  • Work in Progress control accounts
  • Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements to supplier ledger
  • Online payments of Suppliers weekly/monthly
  • Provide information to support accurate and timely cash planning
  • Credit Card - analysis, coding and input
  • Any adhoc, duties as required

Profile

To be considered for this Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant role you must have the following:

  • Strong background in Purchase Ledger
  • Knowledge of additional accounting duties
  • Sage line 50 experience (desirable)

Job Offer

£25,000 - £28,000 + excellent benefits
