Exciting role for an existing Management Accountant based in Warrington, with several years experience in a management accounts role you will be forward thinking, analaytical and driven.

Client Details

My client is an industry leading medical supply company.

With over 4000 employees they are one of the largest pharmaceutical supply companies in the UK operating one of the countries leading pharmaceutical dispensaries.

Due to expansion of the Warrington site they are looking for a driven and forward thinking Management Accountant to forecast future growth and expansion plans and assist in the monthly operations of the department.

Description

The successful Management Accountant will be expected to;

  • Preparation, completion and review of month-end accounts
  • Monthly variance analysis
  • Responsibility for review of all company VAT returns
  • Financial project work to assist in future strategic decision making
  • Regular liaison with Group to ensure all information requirements are satisfied on a timely basis
  • Support the Financial Reporting team throughout the year end audit process and liaise with external auditors as required
  • Reporting and tracking profit margins
  • Look to continuously improve the processes operated on an ongoing basis, making appropriate improvement suggestions to line managers.
  • Ensuring that the balance sheet/trial balances of all reporting entities are appropriately monitored & controlled and all risk fully visible.
  • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role

    The Successful Management Account will be

  • Part or final stages (CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience.
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Management experience
  • Organised approach to work with good time management skills
  • Analytically minded
  • Able to deal with change positively
  • Strong project management, analytically, organisational and problem solving skills and abilities
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Possess strong communication skills
