Revenue Accountant

A role has arose in a new Shared Service Centre for a market leading rail business based in Birmingham. You will be taking full ownership for revenue accounting and the role will expand oversight and management of all areas of revenue.

The first 6 weeks of this role will be based in Southampton in expensed accomodation before permanently being part of the new Shared Service and Training Centre in Birmingham

Client Details

The client is a US Owned leading Rail business reloacting to Birmingham.

Description

Ensure all revenue accouting and reporting is accurate in line with accounting standards

Lead month end close, reconciliations and financial statement analysis

Work closeley with the SSC to complete accruals and simplify current processes

review, support and challenege billing activities and revenue processes

Produce revenue analysis to support the FP+A team

Lead process improvements

Interact with stakeholders across the organisation

Profile

The successful candidate will be positive and proactive

Keen to take ownership for the revenue accounting and to use a problem solving ethos to find and develop solutions and simplicity

Strong communication skills and the ability to build and develop relationships

Job Offer

£38000 to £45000 dependent on experience

25 days holiday + bank

5% bonus based on personal performance

Upto 7% matched pension
