Role Objective:

• The Senior Financial Analyst shall be responsible for: (1) Analyses of financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital and prepares projected balance sheets, projected profit and loss, projected cash flows and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position. (2) Updating the 5-year UDC master plan and financial & business analysis for new projects, investments and divestments; (3) prepare pertinent data for funding requirements of projects. (4) Assist in preparation of valuations of the company assets in line with IFRS.

Key Accountabilities:

Financial & Business Planning
• Prepare short and long term financial and business planning process for the company ensuring that the same are aligned to its missions and visions; update the company financial and development objectives, key financial performance metrics and performance reporting.
• Researches and prepares reports on subjects such as rate of returns, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.
• Evaluates complex profit plans, operating records and financial statements.
• Update the 5-year UDC financial and business plan.
• Develop the financial & business plan for new projects and investments to assess viability and impact on the UDC masterplan and future cashflow & profitability.
• Implements improvements set out by the team in forecasting and reporting accuracy and effectiveness.
• Analyzes the current business performance and trends, provide management reports highlighting plan compliance and performance issues, identify cost reduction opportunities and methods and recommend actions required to correct deviations.
• Maintains the databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.
• Keep track of compliance with financial covenants as depicted by the company debt agreements and financial regulators. Advise on solutions if compliance will not be met.
• Prepare the set thresholds and alternatives placed by the team to map out the enhancement of the overall financial targets.
• Prepare business and financial analysis on strategic projects (M&A, non-Real Estate investment and divestment, partnerships, reorganization, etc.)
• Prepare the requirements of the company’s strategic Investors and provide pertinent periodic information to cater to their requirements.
• Conduct due diligence, feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis for both prospective and ongoing projects.
