Working in a busy finance team the role of the credit controller will be to assist the the team with chasing the outstanding invoices, reducing the debtor days and playing a vital role in the cash flow of the organisation.

The role of the credit controller will include but not limited to:-

  • Chasing the outstanding company debt by telephone, letter and email
  • Build internal and external relationships
  • Handling specific account ledgers
  • Liaising with sales ledger/accounts receivable to resolve outstanding queries
  • Investigating and resolving queries relating to non payment of invoices
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date client details and account records


The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Previous credit control experience - Essential
  • The ability to build long lasting business relationships - Essential
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally - Essential
  • High level of organisational skills - Essential
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy - Essential
  • Account management - Essential
  • Experience of hitting company KPI`s and targets - Essential
  • Being a team player - Essential

Job Offer

On offer for the successful candidate is a salary between £19,000 - £21,000 per annum dependant on experience plus 29 days holiday + 5% pension contribution + childcare vouchers + life insurance
