Part Time Credit Controller

Part time credit controller, our client is flexible on the hours and you can either work 3 or 4 days a week!

Description

Chasing outstanding debts by telephone and email
Maintaining Direct Debit files and ensuring all advance notices are sent out
Reconciliation of bank account, allocating BACS payments and cheques to client accounts
Taking credit and debit card payments
Dealing with internal queries re payments
Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
Regular contact with clients to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert bad debts
Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
Provide accurate advice on billing queries
Propose write off of irrecoverable debts
Any other duties as delegated from time to time by FD
Monthly meetings with fee book holders to discuss debtors
Ensure any queries from clients are dealt with in a timely manner

Profile

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong Credit Control experience
Be confident working on their own and as part of a team
Be able to use their initiative
Strong interpersonal skills
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
Pride themselves on their attention to detail
Be results driven
Be adaptable and happy to take on new challenges
