My Client are an established not for profit and charities business working out of Central Cambridge and have a strong moral goal, looking for someone understanding of the charities mission but more so capable of coming in and hitting the ground running, ideally with more senior experience as to ensure accuracy values. With great office facilities and working environment they have great public transport links and are in need of someone ASAP

Description

The Accounts Assistant - Temporary duties will include:

• Performing high quality purchase ledger processing contributing to the performance of the finance team
• Produce the reconciliations of the supplier statements
• Be responsible for reviewing and processing company expenses
• Process weekly UK and international payment runs, handling multi-currency on a daily basis
• Process business transfers and payments
• Keep the business financial accounting system maintained
• Aid with both grant and statutory audits

Profile

The right Accounts Assistant - Temporary will have the below experience and characteristics:

• Someone with solid debits, credits and double entry knowledge
• Experience in a more senior capacity or used to going into temporary assignments and having an instant impact
• Be a confident user of Excel capable of using V Look-Ups and Pivot Tables
• Have had exposure in handling multi-currency
• Proactive individual able to focus and get their head down through busy periods
• Have experience with various accounting systems
• based locally or commutable to central Cambridge
