Fund Registration SME, Asset Management

Our client, a fast expanding global Asset Manager, has a rare opportunity for an experienced Fund Registration SME to operationally support the Legal team. Candidates will come from a Fund Administration or Transfer Agency background with some knowledge of Fund Registration (UCITS & non UCITS).

Although this role is NOT a legal role, the successful incumbent will be responsible for all product/fund registration matters and will support the Legal Team with the coordination and maintenance of new and existing registrations and notification processes across various jurisdictions.

Evolving as the firms Product Registration expert, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for all activities relating to the maintenance of existing registrations of cross border funds (UCITS domiciled in Luxembourg, Ireland & the UK) in Europe, the Middle East, South America and Asia Pacific regions including the preparation and submission of amendments and annual updates to existing registrations.

For new product/fund registrations, this role will prepare the necessary information, make applications and submit to the regulators for new and existing funds in the EU under the UCITS passporting process. This will also include non-EU regions under the relevant local regime as well as assist in the collation of information required for submission to support registrations in the Middle East & Asia Pacific regions.

Although not essential, if candidates who bring fluent German language skills will also get involved in translating, preparing and maintaining German & Swiss versions of prospectuses. German speaking skills are advantageous but not essential.

To be considered, candidates will have experience of the funds registration process from a fund administration background.
