The Finance Manager will play a hands on role daily, holding responsibility for the contracts and associated budgets within the Estate Operations department. Description
Within this role the Finance Manager will:
- Lead the tendering and procurement of services and goods contracts
- Manage and lead the team on all budget and transactional functions within the department
- Review all budget statements
- Create and maintain accurate and detailed expenditure against budget reports
- Have responsibility for the rolling forecasts and budget planning
- Consistently promote process improvements to streamline existing budget monitoring and management
- Work closely with the wider department heads on operational and capital costs
Profile
The successful Finance Manager will:
- A dynamic and ambitious individual keen to make a real impact
- Hold a business, accounts, finance degree or the equivalent
- Have experience in contract management
- Confident in all aspects of budgeting and financial planning
- Hold previous team management experience
- Be confident in producing detailed and accurate financial reports and delivering these to service managers
