Description

• All aspects of internal auditing that involve robust planning, reporting and support across the organisation
• Working alongside other colleagues within different departments
• Work towards improving financial controls and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations
• Provide first-class auditing and accounting support and advisory service, primarily to branch officers to ensure the integrity of financial records and returns
• Maintain comprehensive working papers and files on all routine and special audits
• Prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for senior managers or lay committee on matters of non-compliance, fraud or other financial irregularity using audit evidence

Profile

• Must have demonstratable understanding of internal and external audit
• Strong analytical skills, with excellent knowledge and understanding of systems to produce and present information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Be highly organised and comfortable working unsupervised
• Have excellent communication skills
