Description

Key responsibilities for the Trainee Management Accountant:

  • Responsible for Financial reporting
  • Assist with month end duties
  • Analysing the profit and loss
  • Dealing with audit queries on an ad hoc basis
  • Variance analysis and reporting
  • Ensure all costing figures are accurate and updated regularly
  • Monitor that variance process functions correctly
  • Analyse purchase prices
  • Improve processes where required
  • statutory reporting

    • Profile

    The ideal candidated for the Trainee Management Accountant:

    • AAT qualification, looking to progress (CIMA or equivalent)
    • Good communication skills, ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
    • Previous experience of sales reporting, stock accounting and statutory reporting
    • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and related systems
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised when required
    • Effective time management skills;
