This Public Sector and Government organisation based in Wakefield are looking for a Temporary Internal Auditor who can work with minimal supervision in the planning and conducting of nominated audits, reporting into the Audit Manager. Travel throughout Yorkshire and Humber may be required to meet with clients, so own transport is essential.
As Internal Auditor you will be tasked with delivery of an efficient, effective and independent internal audit service and give assurance to senior stakeholders as to the adequacy of the financial, accountancy and managerial arrangements within the organisation.
Ideally you will be a IIA / CCAB fully qualified Temporary Internal Auditor or have a good grounding within audit and be able to hit the ground running. More experienced Auditors will need to have the ability to assist with the development of new Auditors. Experience working within a Public Sector background is an advantage, but not essential.
A temporary Internal Audit role paying c£18 - 22ph depending upon experience - this role is deemed inside IR35 so will need to be paid on a PAYE or umbrella company basis.
