Stanford Search is a boutique supplier of exceptional front office talent for investment banks and investment institutions across the UK, Europe and US. Due to activity amongst clients we are seeking a charismatic individual to join our expanding team as an Executive Search Consultant. We disrupt the existing search model, focusing on slick and expeditious client delivery. You would be an integral hire. This would suit an ambitious individual with desire to create wider business impact and help shape strategy, as well as working with clients on search projects.

Expected responsibilities:

  • Extensive business development: engaging with existing and target clients in creative ways to work with them on senior hires
  • Increasing visibility of the Stanford Search brand through marketing platforms
  • Constantly engaging with relevant talent to ensure a robust talent pipeline for current and future searches
  • Searching relevant CV databases (Boolean)
  • Advertising open positions to external networks
  • Attending industry events, networking events and other platforms to increase visibility - we hold BVCA membership
  • Building a team of consultants

Does this sound like you?

  • Proven experience as a head-hunter or recruiter - 2 years +, ideally with some financial services experience. Will consider exceptional graduates
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques and an ability to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent time management skills; commercial understanding
  • Entrepreneurial and want to make an impact with the desire to grow a team; a hunger to meaningfully impact a growing business
  • An understanding of financial markets (particularly corporate finance, private equity and growth funds)
