Our client is a well known sell side firm with one of the best reputations in equity research. They are now looking to add an equity research associate to their European telecoms team.
The role would include
- writing equity research on the major European telecoms companies for your clients who will be asset managers and hedge funds
- attending company presentations and announcements
- visiting clients and advising them on their portfolios
- day to day interaction with the sales and trading teams
- financial and business modelling, analysis
They are interested in meeting with candidates who will have a background as follows:
- Equity analysts from sell side firms. We will consider people from other sectors if they are interested in telecoms
- corporate development or strategy professionals from telecoms companies
- strategy consultants with telecoms experience
- investment bankers interested in moving into research
- chartered accountants
- excellent academics
- outgoing personality
- keen to work with clients
Telecoms experience is useful but not essential
