Description

This role proves the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop their skills in managing a small finance function, you will have advanced excel skills in order to understand and improve the financial modelling. You will have an excellent understanding of debits and credits and be able to manage and prioritise your workload in an adaptive manner.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for production of weekly management accounts

• Responsible for the professional development of an Assistant Accountant

• Budget and forecast preparation

• Weekly reporting as required

• Periodic balance sheet reconciliation's

• Cash flow forecasting

• Liaison with senior management team for review of costs and ad-hoc projects

Profile

This Management Accountant position will suit an assertive, adaptable candidate with a passion for continuous improvement. To maximise success, the ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) essential

• Advanced Excel skills

• Have a strong ability to communicate and influence at all levels

• Be capable working well under pressure

• Payroll experience would be an advantage

• Have a proven ability to prioritise work and consistently meet deadlines
