Financial Accountant

On behalf of business based in the centre of Reading I am recruiting for a permanent Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

My client offers a clear progression route for an early stage studier to work towards getting qualified in a short period of time. You will be in a team of like minded progressive individuals who are all studying towards getting qualified.

Description

The successful applicant for this permanent Financial Accountant role will be responsible for the following:

• Cash flow reporting for a group of businesses
• Ensure VAT returns and payments are made within deadlines
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Working capital and capital adequacy monthly reporting for board pack
• Forecasting and budgeting
• Collect tax-related documents and discuss financial status with clients

Profile

To be considered for this permanent role you must posses the following:

• Studying towards the middle/latter stages of ACCA/CIMA
• Educated to a degree level in a numerical subject or equivalent
• Intermediate excel skills including the ability to perform Vlookups and Pivot Tables
• Ability to business partner with key stake holders
