This is a 4 month temporary sickness cover for a well known business based in Cardiff.

My client is a well established Large UK organisation based in the heart of Cardiff.
Description
I am looking to recruit a temporary Management Accountant for a fantastic organisation based in Cardiff.
Reporting to the Regional Finance Business Partner the management accountant will be responsible for supporting the evaluation of financial and non-financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly management accounts, capital expenditure, variance analysis and commentaries
- Understand the key business value drivers in particular in relation to Project Costs and Income including employee costs and provide value added analysis to all Finance and Performance Business Partners to enable them to advise the business to make operational decisions
- Assist in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting
- Monitor spend against budget and forecast and be able to report any variances to the appropriate parties and services
- Provide management reporting for decision-making, including project appraisal, evaluation and post-implementation analysis
- Work closely with the commercial team with regard to life cycle works recording etc
- Work closely with relevant teams to understand the financial implications of the changes and track these changes through the financial results with supporting KPIs
- Work well with the team and be responsible for the other members of the team.
- Undertake various project works in relation to lifecycle projects etc.
- Attend numerous meetings at various locations around the UK
- Hold monthly finance review meeting on a regular basis and ensure that the attendees have all the relevant information prior to the meeting.
- Deputise for the Finance Business Partner when requested.
- Prepare and present the balance sheet reconciliations for the areas under their responsibility.
Profile
Holds the relevant qualifications (e.g. CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
Ability to analyse and interpret financial information
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management
Excellent IT skills,
specifically with regard to Excel
Holder of a Full UK Driving Licence
Job Offer
Salary circa £150-£200 per day Ltd co/paye
