Assistant Accountant

The Assistant Accountant will be joining an experienced and hands on finance team who have real impact on the success of the business. Working closely with the Senior Accountant and Financial Controller you will be responsible for the running of the finance function and exceeding of KPIs for this Cambridge based FMCG.

Description

The Assistant Accountant will:

• Assist the Senior Accountant in the month end reports
• Be responsible for the full reconciliation of the balance sheets
• Take charge of the invoicing process
• Assist with both the internal and external audit
• Create and maintain key customer relationships
• Create and maintain key relationships in the finance team and wider business
• Provide financial analysis to senior management

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant will:

• CIMA or ACCA part-qualified
• Hold previous accounting experience
• A dynamic and ambitious individual keen on personal as well as team development
• Hold previous exposure to a fast paced working environment
• Comfortable creating and maintaining key relationships internally and externally
