Interim AP Manager

This Cambridge based Interim AP Manager position will be working on a temporary basis to help assist during this International retail companies busy period running through to February 2019 at the least. Focused around query management and proactive improvements to the AP functions process and systems

This International Retail Company have numerous Business units that produce a varied and interesting number of payments and subsequently queries. The management team are proactively looking for support for the AP Manager in a busy period which shows their positive working culture and environment in not letting anyone drown due to workload. Based in Cambridge town centre with parking and good public transport links along with great facilities for someone to enjoy their time with the business

Description

Interim AP Manager duties and responsibilities;

• Assist in Leading a team of AP Clerks
• You will be responsible for implementing best practice compliance across the AP teams and recommending process improvements where appropriate.
• You will be comfortable operating in this environment and a good communicator able to bring key stakeholders on side.
• Ultimate responsibility of all day to day transactional finance processing
• Documenting accounts payable and expenses procedures
• Recommending optimal process improvements
• Influencing senior stakeholders internally

Profile

The ideal Interim AP Manager will have experience in a similar role and will be confident in managing a team and driving proactive query management along with process improvements

• Experience within finance is essential with AP leadership expertise
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Excel capabilities
• Only immediately available candidates or those on a one week's notice period will be considered.
