Brilliant Job Opportunity with a Top Tier Investment Bank

The team is primarily responsible for supporting the various Flow & Exotic Trading desks in APAC. Work includes maintenance of the full trade and process flow. The team is also responsible for monitoring key controls to ensure that there is a complete and accurate account of all trading activity in the Bank's Books and Records daily. The role will be expected to perform 'business-as-usual line tasks' and may participate in on-going tactical and strategic enhancements to booking flows, processes and controls. We work directly with the Trading Teams, COO and other Operations teams within the Investment Bank.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Perform Reconciliation across systems to ensure proper control of risk management are in place
  • Participation in reviewing and solving of trade process and flow problems and act as an interface to the Business, Operations and Finance to ensure all client needs are effectively completed
  • Support trade booking and trade flow related queries from various groups within the Bank.
  • Establish effective relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders including Trading, Sales, Technology and Operations teams.
  • Support on-going process and control improvement projects
  • Any other responsibilities / tasks as assigned by management from time to time


Requirements

  • University Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Middle Office or an Operations area within a Banking/ Finance environment
  • Strong analytical skills and a good attention to detail
  • Ability to pick up new tasks and to assimilate quickly in a new working environment
  • Strong interpersonal and good communication/management skills
  • Highly self-motivated and a fast learner
