Assistant Management Accountant

The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for the overhead of 3 different areas of the FMCG business based in Newmarket. Within this role the Assistant Management Accountant will analysis large amounts of data and produce detailed reports to provide insight to the wider business.

Description

The Assistant Management Accountant will:

• Be responsible for the overhead of 3 different areas in the business
• Handle large amounts of data and produce detailed analysis and reports on the data
• Aid in the development and streamlining of existing systems
• Aid in the production of monthly reports
• Create and maintain key relationships within the business
• Be responsible for the balance sheet reconciliations
• Look after P&Ls in the management accounts

Profile

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will:

• Be a dynamic and ambitious individual keen on team and individual progression
• Be an advanced Excel user
• Actively studying CIMA or ACCA or looking to start studying CIMA
• Be working towards becoming a Management Accountant
• Have experience in a fast paced and commercial role
• Confident in communicating financial insight to a wide number of individuals
