Link Fund Solutions are looking to recruit a qualified accountant to join their growing and industry leading alternative fund administration business based in Exeter, Devon. The position offers first class experience in the rapidly expanding alternative fund sector. Enjoying regular interaction with fund managers and their top-tier financial advisors, the role will enable the successful candidate to develop much sought after international investment experience normally only available in London, New York and the other major financial centres.

The successful candidate will be ACCA qualified and possess strong technical accounting, interpersonal and communication skills. Job Description 

  • Administer alternative investment funds for a portfolio of blue-chip international clients.
  • Review of net asset value calculations, revenue projections and other management information / reports.
  • Oversee the preparation of half year and full year accounts together with related information and liaise with external auditors.
  • Actively manage and mentor staff under supervision.
  • Attend client company board and investment management meetings as required.
  • Assist with the on-boarding of new business and fund changes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • ACCA qualified
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS 
  • Strong communication, supervisory and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrably methodical and highly organised with a proven ability to meet deadlines 
  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and previous experience of accounting platforms
