Description
- 1 year FT Maternity Cover
- Lead and manage a team of four Finance Business Partners ensuring targets are well communicated, achievable and monitored.
- Responsible for the delivery of reports to the Executive Team and Group Board keeping in accordance with the policies and regulations.
- Regular review with other departments managers to ensure service delivery is of quality required for quality management, working with budget holders and senior staff.
- Responsible for reporting Value For Money across the business working alongside corporate management to evaluate performance and support the business with interpreting outcomes to make key strategic decisions.
- Actively be involved in the Departmental project work to improve processes and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of Statutory Reporting ensuring that all financial activities are conducted within agreed time frames for annual audits and dealing with queries that arise.
- Prepare reports and attend Board meetings as necessary.
Profile
- Qualified accountant with PQE (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experience of budgeting, forecasting and analysis of outputs
- Experience leading a team of experienced Finance Business Partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience designing and producing management reports for executives and board members
- Strong ability to influence and manage staff at a senior level.
- Highly organised, dynamic and hard-working individual who is able to work in a challenging environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable.
