Societe Generale Asia has built a strong reputation for its structured investment solutions and is continuously expanding its business in the region.

The structured products business heavily relies on technology from front to middle office to cope with the volume increase. The technology department is also a strong innovation partner for the financial sales and engineers to stay ahead of the competition.

In 2018 the technology department started an ambitious project to cover the requirements of the financial engineers, sales, traders and middle office. This project relies on a sound project manager for its success in 2019.

As part of the Exotics IT team the Project Manager will be responsible for the full project delivery. They will coordinate the work of the engineers in Hong Kong developing the solution and will work in close collaboration with the various teams in the head quarter in Paris.

Mission


Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the deliveries a global program for the structured products business line
  • Capture requirements from the Asia stakeholders and provide in-depth business analysis
  • Participate in the design of the solution with various technology teams
  • Provide project metrics and ensure the project delivers on time and within budget
  • Communicate and report to IT peers and various stakeholders


Profile

Requirements:


Operational skills

  • Experienced in large project management in technology across multiple regions
  • Sound knowledge in structured products pre and post trades processes
  • Sound knowledge of structured products payoffs and financial specifics
  • Autonomous in managing the full software development lifecycle with a strong emphasis on user requirements and testing
  • Experienced conducting change management and training users
  • Knowledge of micro-services architecture and API design
  • Knowledge of Excel/VBA and any object-oriented programming language are a plus
Behavioral skills
  • Good communication to interact with other IT peers in HK and Paris
  • Strong team player. Enjoy deliver solutions to the business
  • Well organized and good business analysis skills
  • Strong analytical mind to develop well-structured and simple solutions
