Interim Financial Controller - Funds Management

A phenomenal opportunity to join a leading global asset manager in a 12 month contract role, aimed at an experienced finance professional with preferably experience at a medium to small sized fund manager. The company have a vibrant and welcoming culture with a great story to tell with this role newly created to backfill for the Financial Controller during a period of change, transition and project work.

Responsibilities will include:

- Leading a small team of qualified accountants who are responsible for all internal and external financial, regulatory and tax filings and quarterly board reporting
- Supporting the creation of more impactful and analytical MI for senior management decision making
- Improvement of financial controls and processes
- Involvement in ad hoc projects as required

Given the specialised nature of the role you're likely to be:

- A qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent - with proven experience in financial and regulatory reporting within the investment management sector
- Preferably prior experience in a people management role
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills - for example able to support and advise at ExCo/C suite level
- Systems savvy, experience of supporting process improvements and change initiatives

This is a 12 month interim position with the potential to become permanent and as such we need people able to start by mid to late November at the absolute latest. Salary on offer is £80-90,000 base plus benefits and bonus.
