Overview The Client Service Specialist is responsible for processing transactions, ensuring orderly settlement, accounting for all portfolio activity, maintaining all reconciliations and preparing client valuations and other reporting as required on assigned portfolios.

- Respond promptly to client and investment manager queries and participate in the resolution of problems as required
- Liaise with relevant State Street departments and sites to ensure optimal problem resolutionClient Deliverables
- Ensure all agreed client deliverables are met
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
- Prepare accounting reports and valuations as per fund specificsRisk and Compliance
- Ensure full understanding and adherence to corporate Risk Policy and Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure all information in operational databases is accurate and current at all times, including fund specific procedures
- Ensure all instructions are authorised, processed, settled, and reported in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure all internal controls and audit requirements are met according to procedures/policies
- Completion and analysis of daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations and checks to ensure delivery of accurate valuations and information to clients and investment managersSupporting Change
- Demonstrate a willingness to support change / initiatives within Client Services and other areas
- Awareness of and active support of current and future technologies
- Participation in relevant projects
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in custody, fund accounting and/or transaction processing.
- Good knowledge of asset servicing and global custody operational processes and systems.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, and spreadsheet proficiency.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize assignments under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent research and problem solving skills.
