Trust and Estate Tax Accountant

Nockolds Solicitors is a progressive, award winning, leading regional Law Firm with offices in Bishop’s Stortford and London.  Due to our continued expansion we are now looking to recruit a Trust and Estate Tax Accountant to service the needs of a growing private client team.  The position is part-time with some flexibility in terms of working hours and arrangements and will be based in our Bishop’s Stortford office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of Personal and Trust and Estate Tax returns and provide general advice on Income and Capital Gains Tax and both personal, estate and trust . Candidates will support the Wills and Probate team and also Nockolds Wealth clients.

The ideal candidate will administer and assist the firm in preparing in online submissions of returns and relish the IT aspects of the role.

Applicants must have ACA, ACCA or CTA qualifications and at least two years’ PQE as well as practical experience in a similar role and a proven track record.  Some knowledge of IHT and the preparation and submission of inheritance tax returns on death and other chargeable events would be advantageous.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently but be able to manage the challenges of working within a team environment and to deadlines.
