Financial Reporting Analyst

Supporting Chief Finance Directors in:

• Ownership of month end accounting for different desks within the bank (balance sheet substantiation, P&L reconciliations, and journal processing)
• Financial analysis and balance sheet commentaries
• Reconciliation of intercompany balances, consolidation and primarily responsible for disclosures of financial statements
• Liaising with both internal and external auditors, whilst applying extensive knowledge of IFRS
• Improving efficiency of processes and systems in reporting to minimise operational risk
• Providing information for tax and processing supplier invoices

Requirements of role:

• Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant
• Strong academics and degree in Finance/Maths/Economics/Accountancy
• 2-4 years relevant financial reporting experience within a banking environment (Big 4 experience is preferable)
• Knowledge of banking products (preferred)
• Extensive understanding of IFRS and hedge accounting
• Relevant regulatory knowledge
• Energetic, driven and ownership of work when completing tasks
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
