MI Data analyst

Working for Hays, a Global Recruitment company who are partnered with UBS, the Investment Bank, you will be working within the On Demand Workers team who are responsible for a 1,000 onsite Contractors based in London.
This position is located in Cheapside, City of London near St Paul's underground station.
This will be a Permanent opportunity, ideally suited to a junior to mid level MI or Data Analyst

The Role:
• Demand for MI within UBS is huge - hundreds of reports running daily. Covering UK & Global - regions are UK, US, APAC & EMEA
• The role is working with another MI Analyst dealing with HR analysis data and reporting back
• It is a combination of a few aspects - spreadsheets for regions, list of reports for when and where they need to go
• Producing a mixture of different reports, automation process and putting it on SharePoint
• Working very closely with the client, internal management team and the recruitment team
• Lots of formula work, VBA, Macro to create automation
• Role by day is roughly split in two - morning of BAU and afternoon of more complex/project work
• Currently there is a team of 9 based in Cheapside -, with the delivery team being based on site at UBS
• The hours are 8.30 to 6pm Monday to Friday

You will ideally:
• Have MI and data analysis experience
• Be able to work with other members of the team - there are 2 in team at present so needs to work closely and build rapport
• Be able to show initiative, independency, pro-activeness and a problem solver
