Description
Transnational Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversea accounts payable team of eight
- Manage efficient processing of high volumes of supplier invoices and payments in different currencies
- Timely and accurate processing of all domestic and international supplier payments and employee expenses
- Act as main point of contact for all escalated queries, resolve issues promptly and with professionalism
- Oversee processing of T&E related expenses, credit card postings and ensure adherence to T&E policy
- Ensure the AP ledger is tidy at all times and proactively investigate outstanding items
- Review coding of invoices/expenses to ensure accuracy of accounts and VAT compliance
- Vendor master file maintenance including new supplier set-up, bank detail changes and archiving of old vendors
- Develop and monitor KPI's within accounts payable
- Ensure all supplier accounts are reconciled quarterly
- Develop, implement and maintain appropriate controls over AP function
- Prepare journal postings and other month end related tasks
- Provide regular training and education to the business on the role of the AP team, the importance of the PO process, and any other related matters
- Implement best practices within the department
Profile
Transnational Manager Requirements:
- Proven experience of managing and developing a team
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing an AP function in a fast-growing, multi-currency environment
- Strong P2P experience essential
- Strong communication skills with customer focused approach
- Methodical, diligent, accurate and accountable
- Ability to drive improvement through change
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work to deadlines
- Excellent team player
