Description

Transnational Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversea accounts payable team of eight
• Manage efficient processing of high volumes of supplier invoices and payments in different currencies
• Timely and accurate processing of all domestic and international supplier payments and employee expenses
• Act as main point of contact for all escalated queries, resolve issues promptly and with professionalism
• Oversee processing of T&E related expenses, credit card postings and ensure adherence to T&E policy
• Ensure the AP ledger is tidy at all times and proactively investigate outstanding items
• Review coding of invoices/expenses to ensure accuracy of accounts and VAT compliance
• Vendor master file maintenance including new supplier set-up, bank detail changes and archiving of old vendors
• Develop and monitor KPI's within accounts payable
• Ensure all supplier accounts are reconciled quarterly
• Develop, implement and maintain appropriate controls over AP function
• Prepare journal postings and other month end related tasks
• Provide regular training and education to the business on the role of the AP team, the importance of the PO process, and any other related matters
• Implement best practices within the department

Profile

Transnational Manager Requirements:

• Proven experience of managing and developing a team
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing an AP function in a fast-growing, multi-currency environment
• Strong P2P experience essential
• Strong communication skills with customer focused approach
• Methodical, diligent, accurate and accountable
• Ability to drive improvement through change
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work to deadlines
• Excellent team player
