My client is looking for a Financial Controller to join a high growth SME based in Chesterfield.

My client is based in Chesterfield and have been established for just under 10 years. They are a high growth SME with a turnover around £10m but looking to grow even further. Over the last few years they have had consistent growth and they are looking to continue this by developing their client base and product range.

Description

A newly created opportunity for a Financial Controller based in Chesterfield working for a growing SME business based in Chesterfield looking after a small finance team across financial and management accounts, process improvement and systems.

As a newly created role they are seeking an innovator who can bring their own ideas to the table of how to improve and develop staff and systems within the organisation and are looking for some to be a leader of change within the role.

You will be working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders so will need to be an articulate communicator and strong influencer across the wider business able to deal with change at a swift pace.

This successful person will provide regular strategic, commercial and financial challenges to the owners on site.

The role reports into the current Financial Director who is looking for their natural successor in this new appointment

Profile

You will be a leader of change with a strong track record in development and delivery through people and systems. You will have strong management reporting experience. A qualified accountant ( ACA / ACCA /CIMA ) with 3 years post qualification experience.

The successful individual will ideally have worked closely with owners and a senior management teams in fast paced environments previously.
