Description
Key responsibilities:
- Processing company payroll for each Pay cycle.
- Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating and inputting data
- Direct liaison with HR Dept to ensure accuracy of employee details and overtime etc.
- Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits and taxes and pension.
- Communicate all relevant information with external bodies for Pension, HMRC and any Levy purposes.
- Assisting staff with wage queries, deductions, attendance and time records
- Receive and coordinate requests for leave and other absences
- Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
- Complete payroll and finance reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review
Profile
The successful Candidate:
- Experience using Sage Line 50 Payroll or any similar accounting package
- Strong IT Skills (inc. Excel, Word and Outlook) and analytic Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organisation
- Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
- Professional telephone manner
- Knowledge on PAYE and pension schemes
- Previous payroll experience of min. 2 years
