Excellent role for a well established business in South Wales who are looking for a Finance Officer with Grants experience. There are 2 roles available and the salary will start at £30,000 with flexible working, great pensions and holidays available too.
Client Details
The client is well established Not For Profit business on the outskirts of South Wales. This role has occured due to organic growth.
Description
The responsibilities include:
- Managing portfolio of grant contracts and will support project teams to administer the projects by providing financial advice, performance information and regulatory guidance
- Responsible for the production and analysis of management information for their portfolio of research and grants projects in order to support the project teams in its financial performance monitoring, budgeting and forecasting
- Provide financial and expenditure control administration
- Support and advise colleagues in relation to compliance with various grants
- Line manage accounts assistants including appraisal and performance management and other support duties
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- A Degree/Studying towards ACCA/CIMA
- Excellent working knowledge/experience of Excel (V Lookup and Pivot Tables)
- Good knowledge of funding and grants
- Ability to produce work of an excellent standard
- The ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage a team effectively
