Responsibilities
To implement the required management controls that address capital, debt, taxation, equity, acquisition, investment and financial reporting that support the business strategies of the organization and that meet the expectations of the owner and stakeholders.
To ensure good Corporate and Financial governess with regard to existing Laws, Government regulations and business reporting practices.
To develop the role of finance as an important management tool and support process that will enhance the overall efficiency of the business with regard to cash flow, capital needs, cost reduction and continuous improvement.
Duties
Review the activities of each business function to ensure the required Company Policies, practices and Business Code of Ethics is in place as well as corporate compliance to regulatory requirements.
Liaise with Banks, Tax, Legal, external Auditors and Government instrumentalities to align the business to Government and Regulatory requirements including annual accounts and reporting practices.
Oversee the day to day financial activities of the business including management systems that accurately report on the overall efficiency of the business, from a financial perspective, as a high volume manufacturing entity.
Review capital expenditure, purchasing, planning and inventory control, payroll, manufacturing and overhead expense to address and improve cash flow as an agreed Corporate strategy.
As directed prepare and provide financial reports and support documentation that present an accurate overview of the financial position of the business for review by the owner and Company stakeholders.
Participate in the development and investment in new markets, product innovation, and product line expansion by providing financial support, costing mechanisms and Return on Investment analysis.
Select and monitor the required Insurance cover for the overall business including
Credit Insurance for overseas transactions
Manage the investment in Information Technology as a service function to the business to ensure it is transparent, timely, easy to access, accurate and reflects the core strategies of the business.
Implement the required security measures to ensure the financial information of the Company, innovation and development records and other matters that are deemed to be confidential are filed and protected as required.
Supervise Company and Private payroll and timely payment of wages and salaries also ensuring all employee records are kept confidential.
Monitor and recommend change to Company and Private payroll to ensure the Company is competitive with regard to wage and salary levels by monitoring external trends through Government instrumentalities and Industry networks.
Qualifications
University graduate or above with major in Accounting, Finance or Economics, and a professional accounting qualification is preferred.
At least 5-year experience in finance/accounting areas, and having financial/business analysis
