ECM Associate director - Leading Mid-cap Investment Bank
An established Sydney-based investment bank with a newly opened position due to the firm's unprecedented growth.
The team is looking to hire an Associate Director with 5-10 years of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) experience. You will be involved in equity raising options, such as IPOs and secondary placements, and other ECM-related transactions.
Your role and responsibilities include:
- Identifying and exploring equity raising options for clients and their business, with particular relevance to IPOs and Secondary Placements
- Structuring and executing transactions tailored to the risk preference of the clients
- Working alongside senior management to generate value for clients
- Active involvement in business development, deal sourcing, client pitches and idea generation for the firm
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients throughout the transaction process
Your experience and skills will ideally include:
- 5+ years of ECM experience in investment banking/financial services sector
- A qualifying degree in Business/Commerce, Finance or relevant disciples from a recognised university
- Strong track record in ECM origination and execution
- Experience in pricing and convertible bond structuring
- Effective written and verbal communication skills (fluency in English is required)
- Excellent network-building and client management ability
