Group Audit and Tax Manager

Responsibility for the Group Audit and Tax to ensure regulatory compliance across the UK, Denmark, France, Germany and Spain.

Description

• Management of annual audit process. Liaising with the wider finance team to ensure work is completed in a timely and professional manner

• Preparation of financial statements

• Management of IFRS compliance

• Managing the accounting of Mergers & Acquisitions activities and assistance with due diligence

• Ensuring all compliance requirements are met in each territory for tax (VAT, payroll and corporation), and filing requirements (statutory accounts, annual returns etc.)

Profile

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ATT, CTA etc)
• European language skills would be an advantage
• Highly pc literate (advanced Excel, experience of Access)
• Must have the ability to think independently and work with limited supervision
• Sage X3 experience would be advantageous

Job Offer

£45,000 to £65,000 (completely flexible, dependant on relevancy of experience) + excellent benefits package
