This Interim Finance Manager requires a hands on accountant to join the team working on various tasks such as management accounts, statutory accounts, reporting and business partnering. Reporting in to the Head of Finance and Administration.

Description
This Interim Finance Manager will run for a period of 6 months.
Manage month end close for the UK reporting units ensuring timely and accurate reporting
Prepare month-end adjustment journals, balance sheet reconciliations, confirmation and reconciliation of inter-company balances, review of prepayments and accruals
Participate in the annual, quarterly and monthly budgeting and forecasting process
Business partnering with key stakeholders. Liaising with various different sectors with any financial needs
Work closely with Global Finance / Global Controllership group on local and global company initiatives in respect of compliance, accounting processes and systems and control environment
Prepare monthly management information for discussion at management meetings including actual to forecast analysis, variance analysis and trends
Assist Head of Finance and Administration with cash management and payment approvals
Prepare core balance sheet reporting including detailed monthly review of all balance sheets to ensure accuracy for review by the UK Head of Finance and Administration.
Prepare quarterly VAT returns and submission to Customs and Excise
Assist the Head of Finance and Administration with the preparation of statutory year end accounts
Year round liaison with auditors, accountants and tax advisers to ensure the timely finalisation of accounts and filings as appropriate
Manage a team of 2 people
Profile
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (QBE considered)
Experience working within healthcare/pharma sector preferable
Availability immediate
Able to commute to Maidenhead / Slough
Job Offer
The Interim Finance Manager can achieve a day rate of £270-300pd depending on experience.
