The Head of Financial Institutions (FI) Sales sits within our Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business and will be responsible for the sales management and solutions development for Australia and New Zealand FI clients. You will interface with in-country FI partners to identify opportunities for wallet expansion and penetration, share best price sales practices, and maintaining a Compliance and AML Risk controlled environment.
Key accountabilities will include:
Manage TTS FI relationships in the ANZ Cluster to generate incremental pipeline and wins, increase market share in both Local and International Cash Management and trade products.
Develop regional relationships with bank groups originated in assigned area to further penetrate regional wallets.
Develop and implement local and international TTS solutions for Non Bank FI (NBFI) clients and support the regionalization strategy for regional NBFI clients.
Partner with banking organization to fully leverage institutional clients group (ICG) products to gain incremental business in the TTS space. Take full advantage of the overall ICG relationship to differentiate Citi from other correspondent banks and local banks in the case of NBFI.
Contribute to deliver on the execution of the Must Win Battles for the regional and global TTS organizations.
Work along the Operations and Client Delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and improvement in VOC status for both Banks and NBFIs.
Key skills and experiences required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading sales origination across TTS Products.
Preferred relevant experience in ICG / TTS Sales / Relationship Management functions in the APAC franchise.
Preferred relevant experience managing Financial Institutions relationships / sales (Banks) and (Non Bank FIs)
Self-motivated and independent decision making skills.
Strong and demonstrated leadership skills managing a diverse team on a matrix basis, with the ability to motivate and influence their performance.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience in delivering results and meeting financial objectives.
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal internally and with clients; ability to manage in a matrix environment
Deep Knowledge of TTS organization and products, financial services or other relevant experience
Qualifications
Bachelor degree preferred however not essential
