Client Details

Established FMCG business based in North Kent are looking for a Group Accountant.

Description

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, your key responsibilities include:

Assist in the preparation of the Group's monthly management reporting pack, analysis and commentary for presentation to the Board.
Provide input into the preparation of quarterly Group consolidation, along with the review, investigation, and resolution of intercompany variances.
Support the preparation of annual Group and subsidiary statutory financial statements, and associated disclosure notes.
Assist in the provision of information for tax purposes to external advisors and reviewing of tax computations.
Support the preparation of the Group's annual budget and the management of the ongoing forecast
Assist in maintaining appropriate Group wide accounting policies, procedures and controls and preparation of accounting technical papers and provision of technical advice.
Provide input in the review, improvement and implementation of new financial controls and reporting processes to maximise efficiencies.
Developing relationships with operations, senior management and the wider finance function to allow efficient and timely information flow.

Profile

Must have consolidations experience
Strong technical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Qualified ACA/ACCA ideally coming straight from practice
Advanced excel and Microsoft skills
A proactive approach to finding solutions to business and system problems
