Operation Manager (Financial Markets Operation)

Responsibilities:

• Manage to develop and implement polices, procedure, new products and services related to Treasury Settlement functions and business
• Identify and pursue technology initiatives to reduce manual workload
• Co-ordinate and follow up queries regarding Treasury transactions between Front Office, Legal Counsel, Accounting, IT, System Vendors and Settlement Project term
• To participate in system development projects, in particular, during user requirement collection, UAT, system migration and deployment
• Supervise day-to-day operations
• Assist ad hoc projects as assigned and new product launch

Requirements:

• Degree or above with major in Finance, Business or Banking, and relevant experience in Banking or Financial Institutes
• At least 8 years experience in operations related to treasury products, including experience in SWIFT, CHATS, SWIFTNet
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, Mandarin is an advantage
• Proficient in English and Chinese word processing and computer applications (Lotus Notes, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Able to work independently and under tight deadlines and time pressure
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in system development testing preferred
• Applicants with less experience will be considered for Senior Operation Officer
