The Finance Manager provides strategic support to the board and manage the finance team day-to-day. The right candidate must be able to challenge information, build robust reporting and have the commercial acumen to work with a business growing at an impressive rate. It is essential to have an ability to engage with owner mangers and external stakeholders.

A leading cultural consultancy with offices around the world. This role sits within the Central London head office. Current clients include a range of high-profile Heritage Lottery Fund projects across the UK, and a range of museum and cultural organisations' in Europe, the United States, Russia, Qatar, Oman and the UAE.
Description
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
- Production of the monthly reporting - management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations including payroll journals, bank reconciliations
- Producing forward projecting financial reports (cashflow, budgets, forecasts, project P&L)
- Project finances and reporting for review by Company Directors, senior management and external accountants as required
- Support the accounts assistant with the sales and purchase ledger, purchase orders, credit control, staff expenses and petty cash
- Processing time sheets
- Managing direct debits and corporate credit card
- Responsible for payroll and pension management
- VAT reporting
- Act as credit control across the company and monitoring procedures and streamlined processes to increase efficiencies
- Working with the ops team to set up new financial structures and improvements
- Keeping clear and accurate, physical and electronic, financial records
- Handling financial queries from team, clients, suppliers and accountants
Profile
Skills and Experience required of the Finance Manager:
- This role would suit an individual from a varied background looking for a long-term role where you can partner with the Founding Directors
- A minimum of 5+ years' accountancy experience
- Experience of producing a range of financial reports
- Experience of managing long-term complicated project finances
- Experience of working with international project finances
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- International experience, specifically middle east.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment often requiring quick reactionary work
