Our client, a well known & growing business based in Woking are looking to add a Senior Management Accountant to join their Accountancy team.

Description

Senior Management Accountant

• Management accounting responsible for preparing and monitoring budgets through the provision of quality management accountancy support and providing budget holders with detailed, meaningful and well-presented financial information and advice;

• Providing budget financial support to Directors and their budget holders within a number of Executive Departments;

• Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for departments;

• Identifying cost efficiencies and cost saving measures and executing these;

• Providing financial accounting and reporting solutions for budget holders to meet business needs;

• Budgeting and accounting for software projects and other global projects which may require accounting judgements and estimations;

• Completing year end close tasks, including preparation of elements of financial statements and providing information for audit;

• Expert in the application of financial policies and operating procedures, including the Operations Manual;

• A key user of the integrated financial system, applying its functionality to improve cost control, project management, funds management and reporting;

• Provide financial induction training for new budget holders;

• Providing training to budget holders as and when required;

• Provide cover for the Management Accounting Team and Accountant in the Finance Team;

• Bank signatory for bank accounts

• Ad hoc requests made by the Management Accountant Manager and Head of Finance.

Profile

A successful candidate will be available on short notice & have experience with the above

SAP experience would be ideal

Job Offer

Salary £40,000 - £45,000
