The Senior Credit Risk Analyst is a pivotal role in the team in this telecommunications company, whereby they need somebody to come in and take control of the credit team, provide credit risk information and updating credit limits alongside reporting at month and year end and many other duties as below. This role based in Waltham Cross is an ideal role for an experienced candidate to take a step up into a fast paced new challenge.

Description

The key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the credit team and maintaining relationships with managers, underwriters, brokers etc
  • Monitoring Credit Risk information from 3rd parties and sourcing additional financial information when required
  • Supporting the Credit Control Manager eith MEU-IR Credit management decisions, and notifying all relevant personnel of any decreases in credit cover
  • Viewing and analysing updates on credit limits and credit rating changes
  • Authorising overdue customers who have blocked credit orders in the absence of the Credit Manager
  • Reviewing year-end customer financial accounts for credit limits at or belowDCL and ensuring they qualify for insurance cover under the agreed small limit process policy
  • Accurate reporting on behalf of the credit team for year and month end
  • Continuously reviewing processes to ensure practices are to the appropriate levels of responsibility

Profile

The successful Senior Credit Risk Analyst will have:

  • Proven experience managing a credit team, alongside credit risk experience
  • The ability to work in a pressurised and fast paced environment
  • Experience of a large ERP system - ideally SAP
  • A CICM membership (or equivalent)
  • Confidence, the ability to learn and be methodical and organised with great analytical skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
