Description
The Finance Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions will support the M&A director in the delivery of acquisitions and subsequently will monitor and report upon financial performance to the board and private equity shareholders against forecasted performance.
The Finance Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions
- Preparation of target reviews from initial data
- Management of the due diligence process
- Ensuring that warrantied and indemnities link to Due Diligence findings
- Preparation of Acquisition documents
- Supporting the negotiation process
- Managing the funding process including covenant management
- Preparation of draw down requests and detailed banking presentations
- Formulation of operational milestone plans and timetables with the business
- Provide input to M&A boards
- Manage the completion process
- Completion of post-completion balance sheet and verification reports and earn-out calculations
- Tracking progress against business investment case
Profile
The successful candidate for the Finance Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions role will have a strong understanding of the M&A process, corporate finance and restructuring.
A relevant qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA - is essential
You will demonstrate strong commercial and business acumen and will have excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
Strong Excel skills are essential.
Due to the nature of this role, a willingness to travel and a flexibility to work outside of core hours is essential.
Job Offer
Base salary of £55-80,000 + benefits dependant upon experience.
More senior candidates will manage their case load earlier, and more junior candidates will be mentored by the M&A Director.
