Well known Bristol charity are looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant in to their finance team on a 4 month contract initially.
Description
- Produce timely and accurate management reports including monthly Management accounts, income and expenditure schedules and consolidated balance sheet.
- Support the month end process; reconciling balance sheet items including accrued and deferred income.
- Maintain and review systems of control and processes within the finance function.
- Variance analysis and preparation of supporting narrative.
- Managing fixed asset register and reporting on capital expenditure.
- Supporting the finance manager in the provision of holiday cover for specific areas; shops reconciliations and reporting and the purchase ledger
- Ad hoc projects.
Profile
- Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience.
- Ability to set and work to deadlines.
Desirable:
- Immediate availability.
- Charity sector experience.
- Working knowledge of charity VAT.
- Experience of running a payroll function.
