I am currently working with a leading housing association in Mid-Kent who are seeking a qualified Development Accountant for a 2 year fixed-term contract.
My client are a well-known housing association who have a large presence in the South East of England and are based out of pleasant offices in Mid-Kent.
To meet monthly with project managers to review progress of schemes, look at forecast changes and miscodings that need correction.
Manage the project ledger including setting up new projects.
Provide final handover figures to the Fixed Asset Accountant for upload to Keystone.
Shared Ownership calculations including Current Assets.
Calculate Development costs to capitalise.
Manage K1 Construction.
Maintain the long term cash flow.
Updating SDS from Project Ledger and reconciling the two.
Forecasting disposals and depreciation write offs etc.
Preparation of HOM Fixed Asset note quarterly.
Preparation of Homes Fixed Asset note quarterly.
To maintain and improve information systems on an on-going basis.
Excellent interpersonal skills.

Housing experience an advantage.
